Happy World Hypnotism Day

If you’re new to the world of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, you might see them a bit like that weird kid at school that you don’t quite understand, and don’t quite know if you want to be friends with—until other people start hanging out with them and then they become cool.

Urban myths and media sensationalism can make hypnosis seem mysterious and even scary to people.

World Hypnotism Day is an occasion to help demystify hypnosis in the public eye, and spread the benefits of this amazingly transformational modality.

So to start the new year right, I've put together a post to clarify exactly what I help people with through hypnotherapy—i.e. accessing a relaxed, yet focused state of mind for therapeutic changes in thoughts, beliefs, behaviours and symptoms.

Personally, I work mainly with women in business on issues affecting their physical, emotional and financial wellbeing, so that they ultimately have more energy to focus on work when required, and then enjoy their personal, family and social time to the fullest.
